I'm really glad I bought these. The wide calf is mostly leather but there are stretchy inserts in the back of the shaft which give these a nice snug fit. The ankles are nicely tapered so that there's no bunched up leather there. The heels are not too high or too narrow so you have a stable platform to stand on. They are very comfortable and I wear them all day...plus they are waterproof.

I had to return my first pair of these boots because the stitching at the side of the top that holds the furry part up came undone the first time I wore them. After having to wait much longer than anticipated for my replacement pair to come I felt that the fit of the new pair seemed less comfortable than the first pair. I'm still wearing them but the boot has an unusual fit. It's much narrower at the toes than it is around the heel area. I normally don't have any trouble getting shoes or boots that fit as I have a pretty normal foot (not narrow or wide). Pretty disappointing for the brand name and price of the boot.

These boots fit very nicely. I have skinny calves and these boots are a little big in the calf but I don't look like I'm swimming in them. The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the zipper pull makes a noise when I walk (not sure why, maybe they are a bit long?). But overall these are classy boots and look nice.

The boots looks and feels about half size larger. They are very comfortable. I was able to wear them all day at work and did not feel any discomfort. They are very stylish. The leather scratches easily but that is not a major issue. I bought these boots for comfort and I am quite satisfied.
