These have great stability forward, backward and laterally.I am 52 and have worked out all my life and taught aerobics many years ago.Now I cross train, doing everything from high impact aerobics to weight training and find these shoes to be the most comfortable, light weight shoe I have ever worn.I came back and bought another pair in case they stopped producing the Influence.

These shoes are very comfortable for someone who stands on their feet a long time. Before these shoes, my feet would always hurt after being on my feet for 8 hours. The extra cushion on the bottom makes it so that my feet do not hurt after standing on them for a long period of time for work which is wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone that has to stay on their feet for a long period of time.

I need a narrow shoe which is not always easy to find. Plus, I was just fitted with custom orthodics and was looking for a comfortable sneaker that would work. I ordered these because I have always been more than pleased with New Balance shoes. An added feature was that they came in narrow and I liked that I could get them in navy. The shoes have been great. I wear them every day which usually includes a four mile walk and I appreciate the comfort. I like them so much that I just ordered another pair so that I would have them before the company decided to change this particular shoe (that has happened to me in the past with New Balance).

I got them as a present, I took them out for a try and my feet and ankle was hurting after the 1st 3 miles I had to walk back home. Super disappointed in the shoe
