Merrell Wilderness Hiker

I have had this shoe for a year. It still is not broken in. The leather is very stiff and uncomfortable. The shoe is built well but not the best for hiking and I am a experienced hiker. The leather does not flex enough and rubs around the ankles. The shoes cannot be laced tight around the ankles to keep debris from getting in. The leather is just too stiff. I am very disappointed.

Propet Frost Walker not very easy to walk in
December 27, 2012
Reviewer: Becky from Hopkins, MI Boots are warm so far haven't tested in snow yet. I bought these so I could just slip on,which I can do except the velcro strap is not long enough to adjust properly. my foot is wide so I have to put velcro to close at the very edge. So when I walk the strap is not as tight as it should be and my foot slips forward and is hard to walk in. it might help if there was another strap by the ankle.
