I love wearing my Crocs Classics but I wanted something for those days that might be a tad colder - and might be a bit wet. You just can't have holes surrounding your feet on those days. So I opted for the Specialist to wear with jeans and sweats when I walk the dog in the wintertime. I ordered a size larger than what I would normally wear in the "hole-y" Crocs so that I could wear some thick socks. And these work just fine.My only complaint (and that of other reviews) is that the back strap is more cheaply made than Crocs from a couple of years ago. The back strap is a bit more flimsy and, therefore, harder to put around your heel. The older ones were more rigid and your heel just slid in. With these, you might actually be standing on part of the back strap as you try to maneuver the entire thing around the base of your foot. That's my only complaint.
Wears this shoe: Mid-Atlantic region....I wear these when dog-walking in the colder, wet months.

Love these shoes. So soft and comfy to walk on. Also uber trendy and water proof. Plus light and easy to carry around in an old CK bag I have. Keep them as theatre shoes so easy to pull from the trunk if the car and slip on in the change room. Safe against sharps and splashes of betadine at the scrub sink. White ones look awesome in scrubs too!

Two years ago I purchased this shoe a size larger than normal for fear of a tight fit. They were really too big, but still comfortable. I kept them and wore them all the time. After two years of much wear they finally gave out, and I ordered another pair in my usual size and they fit perfectly! Very true to size. I love that they are casual and comfy, but look cute and non-"cloggy."

very comfortable, this is my third pair of Birki's Profi Birki and each pair has been comfortable, durable in servicing my needs and long lasting. I wear socks with them and find this works well for me, without socks they are a little large. They are easy to clean and stay looking good with very little care.
Wears this shoe: Inside when new and older pair is for outside, errands.
