I have always used the Totes, zippered overshoe, but they are no longer available. This is the replacement and while the rubber is substantial, it is a very "sticky" rubber, making it very difficult to slide on and off my shoes. It is simply not the same quality as Totes used to make.

Good for protecting athletic shoes

I wanted something easy to slip on to keep my athletic shoes clean when I go outdoors. I wear athletic shoes with orthotics indoors for medical reasons. Now I can go outdoors without changing shoes.Since I am protecting New Balance women's cross trainers size 10, I needed to get the men's extra large. Anything smaller would be too small. The shoes do not fit into the heel, but this is not a problem. It is a small challenge to get them on properly. Obviously they are not made to protect athletic shoes, but they work fine for me. I checked "felt true to size" because there is no option for "don't know." They seem to be very well made.

Bought these to protect dress shoes in bad weather. They've been great! The only thing I would say is that I had to exchange the large for an extra large to fit my size 10 1/2 shoes. The XL fits fine.

I have owned this style of Tingleys for 32 years. I am on my 2nd pair! I wear them in the snow, over slippers. Perfect - warm, dry and comfortable.
