They are at least a half a size short and very wide. It's a very odd combination. I wear a 46 in Birkenstock but decided to get a size smaller as well as my usual size as per the Shoebuy recommendations, and both were too short, although the 45 was about as narrow as I needed it to be.

Like these shoes so much for work (I'm a Nurse Practitioner) because they are comfortable and easy to clean. I ordered them in two colors to replace a 6 year old pair.

I had the super birki brand for 2 years prior to buying the professional model,they were great,every 6 months or so I had to buy new insoles but overall the quality of the shoe was outstanding.I am a Chef and these shoes have helped me with foot pain and back pain over years of wearing boots and other brands.

Have been wearing birki clogs for 10 years now. Work long hours and never have a problem with sore feet. I WILL NOT buy any other shoes. Spend the extra 10 dollars for these over the super birkis. Will last 2 years, along with the same insoles. Super birki insoles will tear up halfway through the life of the shoe itself.

I ordered a size smaller than normal because I know European sizes run larger, but had to return that size for even a smaller size.The top part of the shoe was just too big, even for the second pair.I had to put insoles in them to keep them on my feet. I won't order any more but will make these "do."
