I have a very high arched foot and these are the only shoes I wear around the house, year around. I have foot pain also, but once I put these shoes on, they do not hurt. This is the 3rd pair of high arch Birkenstocks I've bought..I hope they keep making this style for a long time.
Wears this shoe: Every day, around the house. The minute I get up I put them on.

I have worn the Birkenstock Arizona shoe for many yearsand love them. I sometimes get hill spurs and by wearing the Arizona shoes, it releives it every time.I highly recommend any style of Birkenstock shoes, butmy favorite is the Arizona.

Birkenstock Boston Suede Soft Footbed

I got a pair of these to color-match with a particular dress - (good match) - and it was the first time I tried the soft footbed. It feels a lot different from the standard footbed and took some getting used to. If you wish a softer sensation, it delivers, almost feeling like a slipper. I'm don't really prefer it, but it's a matter of taste. All in all, good, classic boston style.

I really like how these look, especially with slacks. I can wear them for a while, but eventually this particular style makes my foot feel fatigued. (I think it's the pressure over the mid-foot.) I don't think they would do this to everyone, but it could be a caution if you have thick feet forward of your arch.They look nice in a classy-casual way.
