I am a nurse, so consequently I am on my feet constantly. Recently my podiatrist recommended Birkenstock's for my plantar fascitis. I wear them at home and work and my condition has completely resolved. Even when I am standing in one position for awhile, my feet don't hurt as they did in other shoes.

These are one of my favorite shoes to wear to work. They're not as comfortable the first time you wear them because you have to break them in. Now the sole has molded to my foot and they're perfect!

I bought the Tokyo Birkenstock because I have some lower back pain and hip pain. I am a retired nurse, so I wanted to try this shoe. After a few days of breaking it in I found that my pains are going away. Love this shoe and will be buying more in the future.
