Product Description (Women's Birkenstock Sydney Soft Footbed)
An adjustable two strap sandal with shock absorbing EVA sole. The upper is made of quality durable, comfortable leather. This sandal features the soft footbed, where a foam layer is inserted between the cork layer and the suede liner of our original footbed. Millions of microscopic air bubbles cushion your feet while providing moderate arch support. The sole is made from EVA, a flexible, durable, lightweight, shock resisting soling material.

Another great Birkenstock July 06, 2011

Shoe Size: Felt true to size
The footbed of these shoes is, of course, exactly the same as other Birkenstocks with soft footbed -- same sizing, same comfort. I have a wide foot & always order the "regular" width. The leather on this particular style, though, is pretty soft (unlike some other Birkenstocks that I actually have had to soften up on the edges by filing with a nail file!!. They are much more attractive than the Arizona style too. I did have to put them on the very last hole of the buckle on the strap closest to the toes but that's okay and not too tight -- and it may stretch out a little. Highly recommend.

I have a friend that wears Birkenstocks and loves them. Her foot is much bigger and wider than mine but she had me put hers on. They really did feel comfortable. So when I found these and they came in a narrow I was elated. When I put them on they were at least 1 size too big and way too wide. Since I had the narrow there wasn't anything more narrow. So I don't know if I would have like them or not if I could have found a pair to fit.

These Birks are fantastic. They are like a foot massage, with the soft footbed. They felt true to size for me. I have several of the original footbed, but I find these to be much more comfortable. I had been testing out another pair of new shoes, which ended up making my feet ache. I put these on, and my feet were much happier. I highly recommend these Birkenstocks.

I practically live in Birkenstocks because of major foot problems. The styles with the soft footbeds have been absolutely the best, and this pair was no different. The shiny leather cleans up so easily, too. I'll keep buying Birkenstocks until I don't need shoes anymore.

My first pair of Birkenstocks. Decided to try sandal with arch support. Wonderful, quality shoe. I am thinking I need to make Birkenstock my only brand of footwear. I will try the clog style for winter!
