An adjustable two-strap sandal in a variety of materials with shock-absorbing EVA sole.
Upper material: Birko-Flor™ - Made of acrylic and polyamide felt fibers, this material is a soft fabric with a smooth leather-like finish.
Footbed: Our original Birkenstock footbed - Featuring pronounced arch support, a deep heel cup and a roomy toe box. Covered with a suede liner. The footbed molds and shapes to your foot.
Sole material: EVA - Flexible, durable, lightweight, shock resisting soling material.
Fit:This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

The Sydney version seems to be a bit smaller than theArizona version we usually get. That being said we stilllove them. They fit my daughter perfectly and we gavethem to her. She just loves them and it is impossible tobeat Shoebuy's price and service.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. The arch support is fabulous and they are mostly comfortable. My only issue with them is that the cork foot bed feels very hard against my heel and, after wearing them for a few hours, my heels start hurting.

I typically am a size 7, but the 37 (size 6-6 1/2 as per Birkenstock) was perfect. There is very little break-in period, and the adjustable straps are great to accommodate a temporary ankle brace. The shoe is very stable and supportive. The patent straps keep the shoe dressier and perfect to wear anywhere, even for work casual.

This is my 2nd pair of Birkenstocks, and the first one in the Birko-Flor material. Though I really like genuine leather, the Birko-Flor is wonderful! It is very soft, and feels broken in immediately. The footbed is the same as my first great pair. These felt comfortable from day one. The golden brown color is different than it looks in photos - more of a marbled texture with a shiny bronzed look, it is gorgeous.
Wears this shoe: Every day, around the house, shopping, etc.
