Birks have a little different sizing and I messed up and ordered the wrong size the first time. It was so easy to send that pair back and get the correct size. Amazingly easy to deal with!

I love these sandals. I usually wear an 8 1/2 which would be a 39, but in Birks I wear a 38 and they fit perfectly. You need to give them a few days to conform to your feet. Once that happens it is like they were made just for you. I really love my Birks!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. I was looking for a wide sandal with an arch support for my flat feet. They are heavier than I thought they would be, but the more I wear them, the less I trip over myself. They are comfortable, have a good arch support, and are wide enough. They are very sturdy shoes that should last me a long time.

I liked these so much from last summer that I ordered a new pair for this summer. It wasn't that the last pair was worn out, it had just seen a summer of playing in the dirt so I wanted a fresh clean pair for everyday and the old pair for the garden. These shoes are very comfortable.

This is a great sandal. In fact, this is my second pair of the Birkenstock Sparta. In my opinion there is nothing more comfortable than a Birkenstock once you have broken it in for your particular foot. I find the Sparta is not only comfortable but also quite stylish. This beige color goes with everything which is an added bonus. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable casual sandal.
Wears this shoe: During the warm weather, almost every day.
