My other standby Birkenstock sandals in blue were completely worn out and I needed another pair. I could no longer find them at my local shoe outet so I ordered from Shoebuy, where I found the lowest price at the time. My only regret is that they still cost almost twice what I had been paying previously. The good part is that when properly cared for they will last for quite awhile.
Wears this shoe: comfortable year around and easy to slip on and off

Wow, I love these sandals, I now own two pairs of Gizeh's & I love them. I won't wear anything else. I have 2 other styles of Birkenstock's also but the Gizeh is my FAVORITE! It is so comfy. I love thong style/flip flop sandals so that is why I decided to try these. I was a little worried that piece between the toe would hurt but I don't feel it at all. It really feels like there it's not there, its made of this soft silicone material. I wore my sandals all last summer & they hardly look worn at all, Birkenstocks last! Try the Gizeh, find out why its the most popular style! I wear a 7.5 US & the 37 is my size in these. People can't believe they are Birkenstock's when I tell them, they are so cute!

For the first time in my life I bought something on line because I have been looking for that particular model of sandals but I could not find it anywhere(I found it last summer in Italy) they are very comfortable and that is why I ordered 2 pairs. So far, so good.
