I finally bought these Birkenstocks in a stone color for my birthday, after buying Mocha in a size 39 which turned out to be too big, even though I typically wear a size 8. I always wanted a pair and was too happy when they finally arrived. The first two days will hurt, as in I had to break them in and they felt highly uncomfortable. I even got a bruise on my left foot when I wore them, but after that I can't force myself to take them off. Overall they are great shoes, especially for flat footed people.

I was disappointed particularly by the birkibuc upper. I had had the same sandal before but the birkibuc seemed cheaper and chafed my toes. Would not buy again.
