I was afraid that the sandals would rub my feet if I wore them on bare feet, so I wore them for a few days with socks and then tried them without. There were absolutely no problems--my feet felt fine. I need the support because my feet pronate. These sandals give good support and are sturdy and secure enough to wear in just about any terrain. They are basically quite comfortable, but it still feels good to take them off after several hours of wearing--just as it does with any shoes.

I love these shoes if you have had birkenstocks before you know they take some time to break them in but it is well worth it once they are. They have great arch support and look great too. I would suggest them to anyone looking for this type of sandal.

The leather straps need to be "broken in" before they become quite comfortable! Initially, the leather is rather stiff and may irritate your foot.

I love these sandles, and have had a number of pairs over the years. They wear very well, and are so comfortable, not to mention actually good for your foot with the arch support that is built into them. I was having a hard time finding a new pair and was starting to get a little panicked. When I saw them in the listing there was no hesitation at all, I ordered them right away. They're great!
