I certainly didn't buy this shoe for its looks, and, unfortunately, it is taking longer to break in than I expected. The firm soles are like boards, and the straps still chafe after several wears.

I wear them with dresses, so I am interested in a little less shoe. And since I have a short, wide foot, the fewer straps (with dresses) is my target. I've worn Birks since '82. I love Birkenstocks. This is my first experience purchasing through ShoeBuy.com. My shoes arrived very quickly. I shall purchase through them again.

I like how this sandal looks, but it hurts. The leather is very stiff and rubbed blisters first time out. The support is also wrong, maybe because the shoe is so BIG.

These sandals provide great support for my feet and look great! People were asking me what brand they were, since they are an updated and more feminine version of Birkenstocks. I love them, and so do my feet!
