I have had this same Gizeh Birkenstock sandal in several different colors in recent years and needed a black leather sandal, so went with this style again, as it fits well, and does not look clunky on the foot like some Birkenstock sandals can. I am very pleased with this shoe, it runs true to size and if you have never had a Birkenstock shoe before, you need to realize that it may take a week or two of wear to get the footbed molded to your foot for complete comfort. Toe bar is comfy, no problems.
