I have had several pairs of Birkenstocks over the years and the Florida model is my favorite for both comfort and good looks.I especially like the smooth leather, which is not as prone to stains and dirt as nubuck leather.

I own several pairs of Floridas--my favorite Birk sandals. The three straps allow for individualized fit and keep them very secure on your feet. They also make the sandal look a little lighter and airier than the traditional Arizona style. In my experience, the leather styles hold up better than the nubuck.
Wears this shoe: Anytime when the weather is warm and I need to do a lot of walking.

I have old Birkies and i knew i liked them. I am working in a store that has cement floors. I tried all my other good shoes and always had back or leg pain after 4hrs. as summer approached i switched to sandals but still no luck! My old Birkies were in another state so I ordered a new pair! I am so glad i did! These were a gift from my husband! A great gift!!

these shoes are great - I have had them on my feet nonstop since they arrived. I was having some trouble with my feet and my old birks were pretty torn up - I am really glad I bought these - they have made all the difference. I did alot of research about what I was buying - leather versus synthetic - the different types of footbeds and how birkenstocks fit-size and width wise - so I was pretty sure about what I was getting. They took 5 days to arrive - I was a little surprised at that - but I am very pleased with my purchase nonetheless.
