These sandals were worth the full price I paid for them. They are supportive and unbelievably comfortable and fit me like a glove-before this, I couldn't really wear birks because I have long toes and I didn't think they fit in their toe box. I also have traditionally narrow feet but because I have no arches, the regular width in birks works well for me. I LOVE these sandals. It takes time to break the soles in, but no blisters. I usually wear a 9 and wear 40 in a lot of european sized shoes, but the 39s are perfect.

To break them in, I wore them around the house when it was still too cold to wear them outside. By the time warm weather arrived they were perfect!Well worth the few days of discomfort. Now when I take them off my feet practically try to jump back in them.These are my 3rd pair of Birkenstocks and I don't think I'll ever wear any other brand of sandal or clog. I just ordered another pair of this style in a different color.

These sandals, like most/all birks, will hurt as you break them in, but it's worth it. In a week, you'll feel them shaping to your feet and your skin adjusting to places where the suede rubs. The leather also softens to fit much better than the first time you try them on. Don't be discouraged! I love the look of these - they fit business casual to just regular casual. This was my first time buying birks, and I'm hooked. After a long day of looking at real estate, I'm surprised that my feet didn't hurt much.
