Boston is unisex, I would suggest narrow for female and regular for male. I love the new soft footbed don't ever think will go back the original, get a pair to feel the improvement they made. That's what I call walking shoes.

My feet are wide and hard to find shoes that fit. Not only do these fit perfectly, they have alleviated the foot pain I have been experiencing lately. I love them! I tried the regular Birks and found them painful. The soft foot beds is the best.

As to size, I buy the normal fit so I can wear socks with them. I love the soft bed since I have neuropathy in my feet. I have worn soft beds for over five years and love them.
