Imitated by many, our original classic clog is versatile for men, women and kids. Going strong after 30 years, this clog is a wardrobe basic year round. Enjoy the closed-toe comfort and support which features an adjustable strap for fit.
The upper is breathable, durable and comfortable, and the footbed has a pronounced arch support, a deep heel cup and a roomy toe box. Covered with a suede liner, the footbed molds and shapes to your foot while the sole is flexible, durable, lightweight, and shock resisting soling material.
Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

My most comfortable shoe December 18, 2012

These are a pleasure to wear. I wear them around the house. I used to go barefoot, but my podiatrist said I need arch support, and these shoes do. They are easy to slip on and off, and feel great. The only thing I don't like is that the leather is a bit floppy, so it is a little sometimes a little difficult to get on without using your hands. As I wear them, they are taking the form of my foot, and should stiffen up a little. I have the same model, but with the nubuck leather which is thicker and stiffer.

This is the first pair of Birkenstock's I've owned. I wear them in the house, and they are very effective at keeping my feet and back from hurting when I have to stand around on the kitchen's hard floor all day. They are comfortable, too.

Love, love, love this clog. First Birkenstock experience and let me tell you it is an experience. Fabulous. Feet feel great. I have always bought good shoes and these are even better. I wear size 11 1/2 AA and never dreamed I could find something like this in my size. I highly recommend these shoes.Also, I am so glad to have connected with ShoeBuy.com.This will open a whole new shoe world for me.

These are replacement for a very old (>16 years young)and are very comfortable. The suede upper is not as thick as the full cut leather hide of the older shoe so time will tell how long they last.
Wears this shoe: Casual wear close to home.
