It has an adjustable strap for a more personalized fit, and features Birkenstock's suede-lined cork footbed and shock-absorbing EVA outsole for better-than-barefoot comfort.
The raised toe bar, footbed form, arch support and deep heel cup with footbed liner combine to align your foot naturally for even weight distribution and proper support.
Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

I received my Birkenstock Bostons and started wearing them immediately. They were pretty comfortable from the get go. Now, after a week or so of wearing them 3 or 4 hours a day, I am one with my Birks.

I am a teacher and spend my day on my feet. My Birkenstock clogs are comfortable all day. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for the past 13 years, this is my 4th pair of clogs.

My husband had this same shoe previously and after 3 plus years of wearing it for recreation and casual wear I knew he would have to get another pair when the old ones finally wore out. They look good with everything from church wear to jeans. He had forgotten that they do take a bit for them to shape to your foot so the new ones are a bit stiff but he still loves them. They are easy to keep clean- a big plus for him! They made a nice birthday present for him and I don't have to see him wearing the old ones.

Thank you for the best shoes I've bought since the first pair of Boston Birkenstock's shoes. By the way that was 35 years ago! I have had my original Birks resoled 4 times and totally replace the shoe inside and bottom 2 times. So I have a hard time giving up something that works for me. They are even nicknamed "T.R.'S Fudd's" like Elmer Fudd in the cartoons. I have Roumitoid Arthritis and it's just easier to slip on my Birk's than to tye a tennis shoe etc.
