Awesome insoles
By Brian, from Milwaukee, WI | June 04, 2013
Bought a pair of these after I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I use them in a pair of boots that didn't offer much in the way of arch support. All I can say is WOW! At the end of the day, my feet don't hurt. As a teacher, I stand ALL day, so normally, I am in a considerable amount of pain after I take my shoes off and my feet cramp up. The insoles have really changed my evenings for the better. I now find myself transferring these insoles for every pair of shoes I wear. I plan on buying more!

it works!
By Nicole, from Oahu, HI | February 25, 2013
I had recently bought the Dr Scholl's orthotics and they did not work for me. I have a pair of Birkenstock sandals that help alleviate my heel pain so I was hopeful that the footbeds would work just as well and they do. I am using a shoe that is 1/2 size larger than normal because it does cause a tighter fit but I have wide feet to begin with. They did not require a break-in period for me and were comfortable from the first use. I especially like how they do not cause my foot to be pushed forward in my shoe. I bought the same size as the sandals i have.

Excellent support. I can finally wear my Doc Martens without pain after ten minutes. Would buy again.

Expensive, but worth it
By Simon, from New Zealand | December 15, 2012
First of all, let's get the matter of price out of the way. Yes, they're expensive, but take one look at the quality of the materials and workmanship (and the fact they're made in Germany, not China) and you can see why. Now the most important part: support and comfort. This is the best over-the-counter orthotic arch support I've found yet, and I've tried quite a few. They're made from a rigid cork material and take a few days to mold to the precise contours of you feet. At first, they may feel very hard and unforgiving, but it's important to wear them for a few days before passing judgement. One of the best features of this orthotic arch support is the added metatarsal support. This provided complete relief to my ball-of-foot pain. The only reason I deducted one star from my rating is that the metatarsal support will feel like a hard lump under your foot if it doesn't hit exactly the right spot. Most people have one foot that's slightly longer than the other, so you may find the metatarsal support hits just the right spot on one foot, but is ever-so-slightly off target on the other foot. I would have preferred it if the metatarsal support was a gel insert rather than made from the same rigid cork material.

cant believe how great these are!
By KLM, from NYC | December 07, 2012
I have a terrible heel spur for weeks already and I can barely walk except for in my birkenstock sandals - the only shoes that I can walk in without wanting to cry, really. But I can't wear sandals in the winter, of course, so I tried these. AWESOME! It's unbelievable, no pain at all with these in my shoes. And they are not like other inserts I've tried which make my shoes not fit anymore when they're in or even make the pain worse...these are terrific and I will order more.

The shoe insert was as described and the support is equal to the one prescribed by a doctor.
