The classic Birkenstock Arizona sandal is famous for its comfortable fit and easy style and this version has a soft footbed which is a foam layer inserted between the cork layer and the suede liner of the original Birkenstock footbed. Millions of microscopic air bubbles cushion your feet while providing moderate arch support. Breezy slide sandal has double straps with individual, adjustable buckles for a custom fit. Offered in either comfortable leather, suede or nubuck. 1" shock-absorbing EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) sole. With Birkenstock's signature cork footbed with double Jute layer for better-than-barefoot comfort. Raised toe bar, footbed form, arch support and deep heel cup with footbed liner combine to align your foot naturally for even weight distribution and proper support.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

The soft bed version of the birks are amazing, my feet are full of arthritis and the soft bed enables me to walk forever. In the summer, they are my everyday shoes.

I really liked the comfort of this sandal but the uppers were much looser than other Birkenstock sandals that I own. I had to tighten the straps as far as the last notch to get them to fit even close to properly. Length and width were fine, the loose straps are somewhat annoying.

I bought both the regular footbed and the soft footbed sandle. The soft footbed is well worth the extra money. This is my third Birkenstock sandle over the last 15 years but my first with the soft footbed. This is the most comfortable sandle yet. Also, be careful when ordering your size. All my shoes and boots are 11EE and the sizing on the sandle are tricky. I wear a size 8 or European 41 with Birkenstock and this has always been the case. So take care when you are picking your size.
Wears this shoe: Every evening after work and on weekends.

Paid $20.00 more for the soft footbed, can't tell any difference from the standard Birkies, so save yourself some money and don't get these. Still a great sandal.
