Love them but... April 15, 2013 Reviewer: shoelvr from Minneapolis, MN Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have multiple pairs of birkenstocks and was looking for a version that was more of a orangy/brown color. The color appears so online but is much darker in reality. Sadly they went back based on color. Very comfortable sandals, excellent arch support but they do run large. Once you know your size you can order with confidence but I would suggest ordering down. I wear a 8 1/2 in all other shoes and a 39 in other European sized shoes, but in Birkenstocks I wear a 38. I have purchased a 39 but the arch and toe bar are not in the correct spot. Make sure to get the right size otherwise they will not be comfortable. Wears this shoe: All summer!

Proven winner, over and over again January 12, 2013 Reviewer: Cynthia - Outdoorswoman and Guide. from Cape Elizabeth, Maine and St. Augustine, FL Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have always loved "birkies" although they certainly do not make a fashion statement, well, "lack" of fashion perhaps. Regardless, they offer excellent arch support and as a Professional Tour Guide, I am on my feet all day. I have been wearing the Arizona for about 20 years and continue to order them when the old ones wear out. Wears this shoe: All day, Every Day, Work and Play

so cool, so comfy August 25, 2011 Reviewer: Dorothy from New Hartford, NY Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is my favorite overall shoe. I even wear them around the house in the winter. I have very high arches and this one of the few sandles I can wear without being crippled the next day. The straps are adjustable, so you can always resize if you need to. Wears this shoe: As much as I can!!!

Really Comfy July 14, 2011 Reviewer: AJ De Luca from NJ Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width My wife has been wearing this same shoe for about 20 years (with 1 rebuild) and she loves them. They're extremely comfortable after the breaking in period where they mold to the shape of your feet. They're great shoes for hanging out in. The only problem I have is with them sliding on my feet when driving one of my stick shift cars. Wears this shoe: anywhere casual, beach/pool, leisurely walking

not like the pictures January 20, 2011 Reviewer: j. ringo from san francisco Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Not at all orange the way the pictures on most of the websites display (at least, on my three computers). The color is actually subtly varied shades of a very nice medium-dark brown. They've done to them the same thing pant makers do to jeans in order to make them look "worn", and they've done so with excellent results - a sort of "got these at the goodwill store on the edge of the up-scale part of town" but without someone else's foot print already borne in. Will definitely purchase a second pair to keep in reserve just in case birkenstock makes the mistake of discontinuing their best look yet.Don't trust their sizing conversion method. If you are a first timer try on in a "brick & mortar". Wears this shoe: practically always except when i rotate with others of the same model.
