Product Description (Birkenstock Arizona Birkibuc)
The classic Birkenstock Arizona sandal is famous for its comfortable fit and easy style.
Breezy slide sandal has double straps with individual, adjustable buckles for a custom fit. Offered in either comfortable leather, suede or nubuck.
1" shock-absorbing EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) sole. With Birkenstock's signature cork footbed with double Jute layer for better-than-barefoot comfort. Raised toe bar, footbed form, arch support and deep heel cup with footbed liner combine to align your foot naturally for even weight distribution and proper support.
Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.
Upper: Leather, Suede or Nubuck

Great! January 28, 2013 Reviewer: Meme from Northeast Iowa Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I've always thought I'd like a Birkenstock, but didn't think they came in a narrow width...The stores only had them in wide widths. When I saw that you had them in narrows, I ordered a pair. Although I've only warn them around the house now, I feel that once the weather warms up I'll enjoy them even more. Thanks!

An interesting alternative January 28, 2013 Reviewer: Bailey from Charleston, SC Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Been wearing Arizonas for decades, and was interested in Birkibuc as much for the price (and my own curiosity) as the ethics. Note that the sandals still have the traditional Birkenstock suede footbed; this is NOT a leather-free sandal. The straps are comfortable, with a felt-like feel that's quickly indistinguishable from traditional leather Birks. And Birkibuc straps aside, they are otherwise your usual Arizonas. Interested to see how well they wear over the next year, but so far (a few weeks in) so [very] good. The color's not my favorite -- I have the "mocha" -- but it's hard to believe how much more affordable they are than "real" Arizonas. Would buy them again, though maybe in a different shade. Wears this shoe: Daily wear.

A high Instep October 01, 2012 Reviewer: Retiree with bad feet. from Honolulu, Hawaii Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width My foot has an extra high instep which makes buying any slipon type shoe, sandal, or slipper difficult to wear. As expected, I needed to have a couple of extra holes punched in the upper strap on eash sandal, in order to make it long enough to get into comfortably. Other than that I was very pleased with the fit. Wears this shoe: I wear this sandal as a house slipper.

Most comfortable sandal July 24, 2012 Reviewer: CJ from McHenry, Il Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width The fit of the footbed conforms to your feet after a few wearings, making these the most comfortable sandals I have owned. I have had foot problems in the past, yet can be on my feet all day long and feel just as good as when the day started. Wears this shoe: home, shopping, Etc...
