The classic Birkenstock Arizona sandal is famous for its comfortable fit and easy style.
Breezy slide sandal has double straps with individual, adjustable buckles for a custom fit. Offered in either comfortable leather, suede or nubuck.
1" shock-absorbing EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) sole. With Birkenstock's signature cork footbed with double Jute layer for better-than-barefoot comfort. Raised toe bar, footbed form, arch support and deep heel cup with footbed liner combine to align your foot naturally for even weight distribution and proper support.
Fit:
This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

I had difficulty with the size of the sandal - converting the US size to a Euro size. But, the Shoebuy.com people were VERY patient and worked with me to find a size that worked, without having to pay extra for shipping and handling. That is the reason for the five stars! Once we got the correct size, it all fit into place. Thank goodness for Shoebuy.com. I have bought several shoes and boots for my self and plan to continue buy from them.

This is my third pair of Birkenstocks. I always wear the previous pair until the tread wears off and the shoe is stretched out which tells me that I get the most out of my money. Birkenstocks give me the support I need especially when I am standing for a long period of time. I was leery about the color, but once I opened the box, I knew it was right (each pair I've bought has been a different neutral color).

Comfort for plantar fasciitis

I have plantar fasciitis and require special shoes that support my feet to minimize the pain. These Birkenstocks are great and I wear them all day when I am inside my house.
