I love these shoes and look forward to summer slooping around in them. They felt a little strange at first due to flatness of the sole but the internal foot structures tended to help throw back my shoulders and to enable me to become more natural in overall posture. Plus they will look great when dressed casually.
Wears this shoe: Vacations, about the town when out for a meal, etc

The first Birki I ever bought that was not a sandal, but this is just as comfortable or more so. Holds my foot perfectly and good wide toe box. I love the shoe, just waiting for it to get a little softer.

I'm a retired nurse. I wear a 9.5 wide, have difficulty with bunions, flat feet, and heel spurs. Birkenstock shoes always fit well - I been wearing them for years for comfort and support. They alleviate all my foot pain that occurs from wearing other shoes. This pair is great for winter or whenever a closed shoe is required and looks as stylish as an oxford style. I am super pleased!
Wears this shoe: Whenever a closed sporty or oxford style shoe is required; mostly winter months.

Great shoe from birkenstock I ordered the same size I wear in the Boston clog 44R but the Alabama felt way wider and longer so I exchanged for a 43N and they fit perfect normal birk break in period but now that's all I wear and they look great with jeans a little pricey but well worth it if you are a Birkenstock lover they are now my favorite shoes.
