A new "hybrid" generation of footwear that combines the exceptional cushioning of a well-made shoe with the support of an orthotic, giving you the foundational support and comfort you need to walk, work, stand or GO farther! Bio-Trek's Journey features a soft, lightweight synthetic leather upper with foam-backed nylon mesh that is highly breathable. A built-in orthotic plate cradles and protects the foot. A thick, cushioned insole made of breathable memory foam wicks away moisture and is washable, and Superior Bio-Sole memory cushioning under the forefoot and heel is incredibly soft yet resilient.

bought the shoes for my daughter, she has some back problems and needs shoes with a good arch support and cushioning. she loves the shoes. I hope to get a pair for myself.

These are very comfortable walking shoes with excellent support. Having said that, I have only worn them once to the gym because of the overwhelming smell that came with the shoes. The manufacurer must have known about the odor because odor absorbing liners were sent along with the shoes! The inserts didn't work. So I've washed the shoes and have sprayed them a number of times with Fabreze. I sprayed them again last night and hope this will do the trick! I am anxious to begin wearing them.
