Classic Looks and Excellent Fit and Quality December 15, 2012 Reviewer: Cowboy from Indiana Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width They are exactly what I was looking for in appearance and finish, and I was pleased to discover that the fit and worksmanship are first rate. They are not a work boot, nor were they intended for that purpose. For comfortable, casual wear, they couldn't be better! Wears this shoe: Daily - after my horses have been tended.

Great boot! December 24, 2010 Reviewer: Brian from Sachsen, Germany Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I took a chance as I have never tried this brand before. At first glance, they resemble Corcoran jump boots (I'm in the military), but that's where the similarities end. They are very comfortable and the distressed look of the leather adds that little something different. These have become my favorite boots to wear. Wears this shoe: Casual

almost happy August 21, 2010 Reviewer: john from san francisco Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked I've had a few bed-stu pairs over the years. I like the moderately funky, slightly old-school flavor. This pair I am planning to return, for a combination of style/size/quality reasons:1. seemed a half-size larger than listed. This alone is no big deal, I often put inserts in shoes like this.2. Too wide --also not unheard of for me, I must have narrow feet but frustrating that more makers don't offer narrow sizes, or at least I don't see them available.3. Sad that the leather doesn't feel like full-grain cut. This means plenty of comfort from the start, but if I like a shoe, I don't mind a break in period, and I wear them forever, and often get them wet so second rate leather just doesn't hold up as well, and i feel gypped. I'll be glad to pay the price for best, thickest, high quality hide, but it's hard to find in fun styles.4. On top of 3. above, the style comes with "washed" finish. I wasn't sure what this meant, but hoped it meant some of the natural oils had been rinsed out, for a flatter, weathered look and that I could restore the oils/finish myself, and get them back to "full-strength" weather-resistance but the leather appears to be abraded or sand-blasted for a suede-like finish. I don't think treating with my usual waxes or oils will help. Sad again, and I am just going to return these, despite nice looking profile and features.
