Bought Bates because of past Bates I have bought that were good shoes/boots.Likes: Lightweight for a boot. Comfortable.Dislikes: Break in period. These boots need breaking in.Would buy these boots again, they are comfortable and lightweight. Appear to be made very well and look like they will hold up for years. The water resistant feature also is a plus.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size
I've tried and returned several pairs of boots, and when I purchased these, I finally found a pair I liked. They do need breaking in, and I had to buy inserts for a little more cushion, but otherwise, I'm very pleased with these boots.
