This is the second pair I've purchased for my husband. The first pair lasted over 2 years which isn't bad for shoes being worn Monday thru Friday for that time period. He loves them and will probably by another pair in 2 years.

This is my second pair of Bates boots. I got paint all over the first pair, so I bought these to wear to work in the winter time. The only complaint I have about either pair of boots is that they're not easy to slip on or off. By the same token, they feel like part of my body when I'm wearing them. They're warm. My first pair was a slightly different model, with Goretex. I wear them in the deep snow, and they always repel the water.
Wears this shoe: At work, going two and from work in the winter time.

I have worn several competitor's boots, also one costing more than the Bates boot. By far the Bates boot is the most comfortable and wears much better.

Pro's: Very Comfortable and light weightCons: Difficult to put on, Not warm in cold weather. We are near sub zero temperatures in upstate New York. I can't wear them too long in this weatherWould recommend
