I like the shoe very much. However, the sole is ver slippery and I found that a little difficult.

The shoes are wonderful, and I wear them constantly. The back of the heel is a little high and stiff, so I recommend wearing it with socks to break in, if you don't want a blister on the back of your ankle.

I have been wearing Bass Weejuns since I was a kid. They are even more comfortable now. They are the only true classic loafers left for women. All the others have been "updated" and do not look or fit the same. My most recent purchase was the Bass Washington. It is a Kiltie Tassel style loafer. The construction is excellent, the fit is excellent, the look is excellent. The appearance of the shoe leather is shiny almost but not quite like a patent leather which I don't really care for. But over all an excellent shoe. I will get many years of pleasurable wear from them.

Nice penny loafer.

This is a well made, comfortable shoe. It is a little tight in the area where the penny would go, but I have quite a high instep and that is what is causing the tightness. I wish it wasn't as shiny as it is, as I think that cheapens the appearance somewhat. I bought this loafer in two colors and will get years of wear out of both pair I'm sure.
