This is the only place I can still find the Bass Layton shoes that I wear. The delivery always works well and the price is ok. (Maybe a little high but they're good shoes.) Because of a mixup I ended up with a wider width than intended. The return process was free of hassles but it took quite awhile for me to receive a refund. It all worked out eventually but I'll make certain I order the proper size the next time.

I have worn Bass Weejuns for over 30 years. These shoes are all leather but could use a little more padding on the sole.

This is now the second pair I've purchased, and I am again pleased with this shoe. Please know that these are not made of soft leather, and they do take a week or two to break in, but once broken in, they are wonderful. Look nice with dress clothes or even jeans.

I have purchased over 6 pairs of this model shoe over the last 5 years to wear as my primary work shoes. They have always been very comfortable and I have been able to get several years out of each pair. The soles being leather would wear out over time but I would just have them resoled as the uppers were still in great shape. The last couple of pairs have had the stitching along the top of the shoe come apart(where the top and sides are stitched together) making the shoes unwearable even though the shoe was still in great shape. I am hoping it was just a freak coincidence but for the last two pair to come apart in the same spot has me worrying about build quality. Minimal break in period and a comfortable, stylish shoe.
