This shoe is well crafted and I am enjoying wearing it. Although it was wide it feels a little narrow, and I started breaking in my size 8 1/2 pair before I really realized that there is probably 1 1/2 inches from the end of my toe to the end of the shoe. Since they are leather I feel confident that I can stretch them to fit well width-wise, but if I could go back, I'd get 1/2 size smaller this time. Maybe on my next pair of Bass saddle oxfords! Everyone needs a couple pair in different colors!

Too Narrow to be Size Wide April 15, 2013

The shoe would be nice, but the toe box is very narrow, not like saddle oxfords used to be. I normally wear a size wide shoe and that is what I ordered. I had seen in the reviews that some said the shoe was too narrow, but I took a chance anyway. Sure enough, it is too tight for me. It needs to come in extra wide, or make wide a true size wide.
