I'd been looking for a menswear-style oxford shoe for a while with no success and even tried another Bass shoe, the Elden, which slipped and pinched weirdly on the vamp. This one not at all - I have a pretty average-width foot so I went with medium width, usually wear an 8 1/2 (some shoes are BIG!)-9 1/2. I got the 9 and it fits awesome, not tight, a little wiggle room but not slipping off my feet. There's space to wear cotton socks in them but they also feel great sockless! So glad I found these. They look awesome with skinny jeans or a flowy knee-length skirt.

I bought this shoe through ShoeBuy because I loved both the look and the color available. I like to be comfortable but more pulled together than just wearing sneakers. The shoes were comfortable the first day I wore them and I love them. I have received multiple compliments also on them.

I am very happy with this purchase. The leather is of excellent quality and promises to age well. The shoes have garnered many compliments and they look great with pants, jeans and dresses. My one complaint is that the insoles are not easily removable because they are glued down. I usually replace the insoles in my shoes, but I decided to try leaving them in this pair rather than rip up the glue. Not only are the insoles super thin, the material they are covered in came loose and bunched up under my toes. Once I ripped out the insoles and replaced them with my own, they were much more comfortable.
