Players on each team take turns hitting a ball with a striker bat with the purpose of running though the bases and scoring runs. Types of gear and apparel necessary to play the sport of baseball include, but is not limited to; a small hard ball called baseball; wooden or aluminum bats; baseball gloves, which aid in the fielding of the ball; a baseball cap; and baseball shoes also called cleats, which feature metal or plastic spikes attached to the soles designed to increase traction on the field. |

My daughter had a bit of a hard time adjusting to these cleats. The bottoms are very stiff and she felt like she would twist her ankle at first. She is now using them regularly and likes them.
