I've worn Bandolinos for many years, and thought I'd have a similar good experience with these shoes, but they're pretty awful. Something about the heel cup shape rubs my right heel raw. I've put heel liners in and worn very thick or double socks, and they don't alleviate the problem completely. I can wear them for one day at an office job with minor-to-moderate pain by the end of the day. I'm very disappointed in this shoe because the style is great. The fit just seems to be off or there was a quality-control issue and I'm unlucky enough to be the recipient of it.
Wears this shoe: if they really wearable, I'd wear them to work, out, on weekends, for anything

I've been searching all fall for a nice knee length brown boot and these fit the bill! They look great with skirts as well as pants. You can easily dress them up or down. I bought the 8.5 and it is a tad bit roomy in the ankle area, I probably should have chose an 8 because these are medium width. But, that's okay, they're still very comfy! I highly recommend them.

I have been enjoying the boots. They are exactly what I was expecting but I was not sure if the size would work. If you plan to wear socks with any thickness to them you may want to take that into consideration when selecting size. Since I want to be able to use the boot year round and it is rarly cold here the size I chose with thin socks or hose work great. I order larger size in athletic shoes and hiking boots.
