First, let's the the important stuff out of the way: the hat fits as advertised. It's also quite snappy-looking, light, comfortable, and keeps the incessant rain off of my head. Now, the negatives. The underside of the rear brim is very sloppily done. This is pretty inexcusable, as the rear brim is up and the poor stitching is very evident. Also a stitch came out on the side of the crown. Upon closer inspection, there are other stitches and threads popping our or close to popping out. I might actually return it, now that I'm looking closely at the thing.

I bought this hat for my husband, who wears a size XXL (7 7/8). This is the 2nd hat from Bailey of Hollywood I have bought for him. He loves these hats because the fit is perfect & they are stylish as can be. I love being able to get them for a reasonable price at Shoebuy, and I love the way he looks in them!

Here is another very well built straw hat that enticed me to buy it. The allure of the Monroe by Bailey was such that I went ahead and ordered two of them.
