Just received my Bailey's Briar yesterday. Wow! Nice hat. My first Bailey's but definitely won't be my last. As a matter of fact just ordered the same hat in a different color, I liked it so much. Great quality and great fit. Would definitely recommend!

This is the 2nd Bailey Briar I have purchased. The first one I bought was brown and I receive so many complements on it, plus it fits so well, that I bought another in black. Shoe Buy got it to me fast and with no hassles.

I Love This Hat December 20, 2012

I love it. It is sharp and would be hard to beat for the money. I'll be buying another one soon. The mole color I got is not the same color as that shown in the company ad but I like it just the same. It appears more brown than gray to me. I measured the size of my head with a piece of string and came up with a number that indicated I needed a Large. When I put my Large on it fit perfectly. Here's a note of interest in that regard: I tried on a size Large Baileys hat (not Briar as one was not available) at Dillards and it was too big. No problem with the Briar though. My advise: if your measurement seems difficult to ascertain for sure, buy smaller, not larger. Hope that helps.

Lots of Character May 06, 2012

The Bailey Briar is constructed of LiteFelt Wool in keeping with all the standards that Bailey Hats are famous for. The Medium size fits my 57cm head perfectly as per published sizing specs, and the hat can be packed away and will pop back into shape when ready to use it again. The Briar is available in several colors and I have no complaints about my hat, which I chose in black. It has a black cotton blend sweatband that allows the hat to be worn comfortably all day.The Briar is shaped exactly as the pictures above show with a wide-brim Safari style that would also double as an Outback hat. Certainly suitable for all your little spy projects, but don't expect to remain covert when wearing this hat for very long. This is really the hat that Harrison Ford missed out on during his search for his trademark hat, and has a most delightful appeal with a turned down brim in front. But the Briar is also perfectly suitable for maximum sheltering from the glaring sun while out on some big adventure at Disney World, or if it suits you better, then roll the brim upward and make yourself obvious while sitting at a crowded outdoor restaurant on Main Street.

Sharp Looking hat April 12, 2012

I ordered the mole colored fedora. On my computer screen it appeared to be a light gray/silver color. The hat is actually a grayish-brown neutral color which will go well with just about anything. I'm happy with the hat despite the color variance, and I have now ordered a black one. The size chart comports with my hat size - 7 1/8; it fits perfectly snug, neither too tight nor loose. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
