I bought this mainly for our upcoming Disney World trip but used it for a day trip to Bainbridge Island and fell in love! It is lightweight, has plenty of pockets including a cell phone pocket conveniently on the strap -- no more digging for a ringing cell phone. But, most importantly, it is comfortable. I won't wear a backpack but this is fantastic. If I thought I could get away with it, I'd use it for my everday purse!

I love this bag - a friend let me borrow hers for a hiking/birding trip and I was amazed at how much stuff it could hold and yet keep its shape. I then immediately ordered one for myself. It is dressy enough for many occasions, and one can put more inside than in most bags this size. It replaces having to carry along a tote-bag. I will get another one for the summer in a bright color.

I never abused a bag like I did this one. It traveled to Hawaii for almost a month, it was way over stuffed as a travel bag, beach bag, camera bag, (Canon s3 and 2 telephoto lenses, a wide angle, and a canon sd800) and diaper bag and sometimes all 4 at once! When carrying my 6 month old grandson I sometimes needed 3 hands and the bags got stuck in a door, tugged on while trekking through crowded tourist traps while over stuffed and it came home looking almost new! The only downside is the straps do not stay where you want them to. I am a short person and the bag would be most comfortable in the middle of my back rather down bouncing on my fanny. Over all the bag is a very nice size, well designed both inside and out. It is very well made and extremely sturdy, machine washable, and a very good value. Because it worked so well as a travel bag it now works great as a everyday bag as I no longer take a purse and a tote and it leaves me hands free so I am loving it also because there are not too many sections and they are designed by size and that makes it a lot easier to remember where things are in a organizer.
