This is a really nice back pack with lots of storage space. The handle broke and I had to return the product. The handle is not very strong for the amount of weight this backpack can hold.

Soft leather, holds a lot. One problem though, the buckle did not hold as I was running thru the airport to catch a flight. Had it fixed at a shoe repair for $5 so no big deal. I would recommend this backpack.

This bag was purchased specifically for travelling so my hands could be free from carrying a purse. It is a smaller bag, I'm 5'5" but petite shoulders & short waist so it fits well and comfortable. The straps are very long; a shoe shop cut 12" off each side. If you do this, warn the shop that there is a wire in the strap.Here's what I carry: Outside compartments, tall skinny water bottle in the open side, sunglass case & sunscreen in the zippered side (also a mesh pocket inside). Overfilling the side pockets will cause less space in the main compartment. Front compartment has a pocket for a checkbook/iPhone, pen slot, 5 card slots, hook for keys and a little bit of area at the bottom for small items (lipstick). Be careful what you decide, these items could easily fall out when it's fully unzipped. The main compartment unzips at the top, there are 3 storage areas. 1st is on the opening flap designed to run earbuds through (have not used this feature); the access zipper is inside not on the outside, the 2nd zippered pocket is inside which is slightly wider & deeper than a checkbook, the 3rd is a mesh compartment that is about the size of travel Kleenex. The main interior storage holds a Panasonic camera, extra battery, iPad, 6"x9" notebook and a lightweight jacket. Zippers and clasps are designed well, have not used the carabineer yet. Recommended changes: 1. padded sleeve inside to keep the iPad in place 2. fashionable exterior color besides black, inside is light blue.
