I purchased this shoe with the understanding that it was made in Italy. However, it is made in Brazil. There is no real problem with that and the shoe seems to be well manufactured and of good quality. Still, I found it misleading. Regarding the shoe quality and manufacturing itself, I have no major complaints except that the ornamental buckles on the shoe are small which make it look a little femenine. The leather is soft and the shoe really comforms and contours to your feet. There is more than enough inner sole padding and cushioning, however, this makes your feet feel snug and eventually tires the foot-arch.
