A thick single band secures the instep, then connects to the thong piece with a gorgeous jeweled ornament. The leather is textured to give the appearance of finely woven metallic clothe, and is also leather lined for more comfort.

I really like this sandal. It takes a bit of breaking in as the jewels on top cut into the top of my toes. Nothing serious - just a bit uncomfortable at first. I stretched them out by hand and that seemed to help.

This is probably the most beautiful shoe I have ever seen. Unfortunately for me, it was also the most uncomfortable. I wore it around the house for a whole day hoping they would stretch out or become more comfortable or something. The jewels are beautiful but rub the toes - the shoe needed more thong length. The jewels are too close to the toes. No good for me. I have sensitive feet and I know they will hurt.
Wears this shoe: Vacationing, dinner, special occasions.
