Needed a new pair of shoes for aerobics class. Was a little leery of the description of the magenta/purple color accent, but decided to take a chance since the price was good. The trim is really more of a maroon-magenta rather than purple, which I'm happy about.These shoes are pretty comfortable and work well for aerobics class, The only issue I'm having is they tend to slip a little at the heel/ankle. It's not a big problem, though... might be just that by comparison, my old shoes were so totally broken in and molded to my feet!

I REALLY like this shoe! I needed a black work shoe with a slip resistant sole. This shoe is SO light and comfortable. I need a shoe with cantilever and outside sole support and this gives it to me. I did put orthotics in it BUT I feel like I have slippers on. Light and breezy.

I like the look of this shoe, and for Florida, the mesh is much cooler for outside activities. In the weight room unless you tie the shoes very tightly, your toe will slide down and bump the front of the shoe when you do squats or lunges. I use a thicker sock for those days. It is well made and the sole has good tread, and I like the liner and cushion of the shoe. Being mesh, it is not the most stable of shoes, but for light exercise it works well...I wouldn't be running in it though.

The arch support is perfect in the Avia sneakers for me and I like the width of the toe box. The weight of this sneaker is lighter than most cross trainers.

I really like the avia shoes. Except they do run small. I wear a 1/2 size smaller in most tennis shoes. I wish more shoes came in black for women. I like to wear them for walking and shopping and the white gets too dirty!
