Excellent Boot April 29, 2011 Reviewer: Snatchum from Oregon Shoe Size: Felt full size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I had a pair of 535's about five years ago that I had used for backpacking. They have very tacky soles, yet last for hundreds of trail miles. They are waterproof and stay that way with proper care. Excellent support also. I had recently purchased a new pair and am just as pleased with them. The only negative thing to say about these boots would be they don't breath well on hot days. Wears this shoe: Hiking,

April 21, 2011 Reviewer: Mike R. from I live in the mountains of North Western Nevada. Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is the 3rd pair of these boots I have owned. I wear the new ones on trails, the second on short walks around the mountain near home and the oldest pair are work boots. They have all served me well. Wears this shoe: At 73, I have spent most of my spair time hiking and Mt. climbing.

November 03, 2010 Reviewer: John from Iroquois, east central South Dakota Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked The Asolo TPS 535 boots are superbly well made and the one piece leather front portion is a must in a boot. Any seams in the flexing area will give out and these boots have none in that critical spot. They aren't available in anything but a medium width in the smaller sizes like mine (size 7). My feet are wide. That is unfortunate but they are getting more comfortable. They are stiff at first but break in fairly quickly with some hard use. The instep is flat and there isn't much arch support. That also conforms a little with time. I bought these partly because they don't have gore-tex. It's too hot and without seams all over the boot it's not needed- these are waterproof. The longer I have these boots the more I like them. I can't wait to get back to Montana and hike in them. They're a little taller than you might expect and ankle high socks are not high enough. They will chafe. With tall enough socks though there is no problem with rubbing or blisters. They are a lot tougher boot than they look in the pictures. Overall, this was an excellent choice, for sure if you can get your proper width. I wanted a tough work boot with better ankle support than the regular kind that I could also walk, hunt, and hike in. These are it. Wears this shoe: all over - in the field, in the shop, in the mud, in and out of the tractor

I wear them for work and play and they last about eighteen months. I have been wearing 535's for about ten years and I love them. Wears this shoe: all day every day
