Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width These shoes are durable and rugged. The Vibramsole grips very well in the snow and elements. I did not like how stiff they are. It was like putting on a ski boot and walking in it until I got used to them. I've worn them for several months now. My feet have never got wet. They are almost too warm. I would suggest them if you want a heavy duty shoe, but not if you want something casual. Wears this shoe: I wear them at my job where I work hard and walk alot outside.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Great lacing, support, definitely glad I went with this lighter weight model from the powermatic line. I replaced the insoles with another with memory foam because the STD insole is rock hard-that did the trick. a great buy! Wears this shoe: Hiking backpacking and on weekends outdoors

Brand New, 23 miles, no blisters

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is a great boot. I got it last wednesday. wore it an entire day. The boot felt real stiff to begin with. The true test was saturday during a 23 mile hike to and from Mt San Gorgonio. Not a blister or chafe marks. The boot is grippy. I step on a rock wrong and it saved me from a sprained anckle. One of the best hiking/backpaking boot I've owned. We're on to Whitney in three weeks. The micropulleys are awsome. I recommend some break-in. Also, superfeet. I used medium cushion smart wool and silk liners - Feet did not get to warm but stayed dry. Wears this shoe: Hiking
Great boot, super deal...

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is my second pair of the Asolo Power Matic 400 GV; the first lasted over two years of hard wear. I've hiked nearly 100 miles on the trails, worn them every day working in the woodshop, in the office & general strolls year round. At the same time I purchased my first pair, I also purchased a pair of nicetennis-shoes; I've hardly worn those, always favoring the Asolo boots instead. Wears this shoe: When I'm awake.
Great shoe, great bargain, great service.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width The shoe is exactly what I was looking for. They fit my feet and my crampons perfectly. As with most hiking boots, I will probably replace the insert with a more cushioned one. Wears this shoe: Hiking, mountaineering.
