I've never taken the time to sit down to write a review for any product let alone a pair of hiking boots. This is my second set of Asolo's, first being FSN 95's. I read a lot of reviews and articles on the Asolo Moran's before I actually purchased. Some were good, and some not so good. I made the purchase regardless but kept in mind all the opinions of those that gave this boot bad marks. The traction on this boot is decent. I say decent and not great because the sole has a slick surface to it, that at times can be dangerous. The boot does run true to fit both in length and width. The construction is solid in true Asolo fashion. Some people had problems with the heel cup and laces. I havent experienced any of these issues. I wear these all day EVERYDAY. No excess sweat build up. Very little break in time.I purchased these boots for the rugged terrain here in Afghanistan. These are not issued boots, as they are in other branches of military service but are better suited for this environment than those issued to me.All in all in my opinion this is one fantastic boot and would highly recommend it to any one of my military brothers and sisters and hiking/camping enthusiats alike.

Craftmanship is superb. Fit Is good other than a little narrow in the toe box. Only real complaint is the insole.
Wears this shoe: Hunting, hiking, and anytime I am out and about in the woods.
