This is a great boot. Im on my 4th pair and have found that Asolos tend to run 1/2 size smaller with a more narrow toe box especially if you wear a heavier sock. Great boot for the -'Stans. Hope they never change the design.
Wears this shoe: Lots of far away bad places.

My husband is on his feet all day at work - he had a pair of these previously and loved them. We found this at shoebuy for a better price than the last pair and he is thrilled to have another pair of such great boots - I'm thinking about ordering another pair for him!

This is my second pair of these exact boots. The first I had for 5 years. I used them for hiking, backpacking, and later for heavy duty yard and trail work until I noticed this winter that the soles were worn. This came as no surprise after all the mileage. The upper is still in good shape. I am happy to have found a fresh pair. I highly recommend these.

Purchased my first pair of ASOLO's in Italy back in 2000. Loved them right from the box. Absolutely no break in period needed. I was very sad the day I ruined them by laying too near a fire and melting the bottoms off! Thanks to "ShoeBuy" I was able to purchase another pair. Once again, I was not disappointed. I opened the box, put them on and went right out on a rough, 5 hour hike up and down a 2,000 foot ridge that had little or no trail with lots of rocks. By the end of the hike, the only thing not hurting super bad were my feet! No blisters! As far as I'm concerned, ASOLO makes the best boot on the planet! Can't wait to tackle Mt Olympus in 2 weeks!!!

Not only have I purchase this boot for myself in the past, but for others as gifts. It immediately feels fit to my feet right out of the box, offers incredible support when needed, or less when tied more loosely. They keep my feet warm and dry in the snow, such as when trekking with snowshoes attached. Much less stiff than some other major brands, and lighter than some, I see this boot as the perfect all-around light boot.
