A superb hiking boot without the weight! The Ergo GTX has a water-repellent full grain leather upper with nylon, Gore-Tex® performance lining to wick away moisture, Power Lite Asoflex™ lasting board, and Power Lite outsole. The main feature of the Power Lite Asoflex™ is the integration of the lasting board with the heel counter. They create a dual structure which is non-deformable, allowing gradual and controlled fl ex. The Power Lite outsole is a mix of low weight elements with high technical properties with a molded EVA midsole, Pebax heel reinforcement, and a rubber outsole.

This boot is comfortable and light weight. The tread on the shoe helps for a no slip hiking experience. The tinsulate does help with perspiring because my feet do and I notice it is much better even in 100 degrees. I also have a lis francs fracture and I am able to maintain my personal training and full workouts with these boots on. My fiance has wore his constantly for 7 years and swears by them. I agree. Best buy!

The shoe is a really good-looking well made shoe. It is comfortable, durable yet stylish. It is reasonably priced and had a thorough technical review explaining the technology used.I bought it for a 10-day trek in Patagonia and felt that the light weight combined with the strength of the shoe will be ideal.
