I thought it would be suede material, but it turned out to be more like a velvet finish over a cardboard-like base. The bottom of the shoe feels hard and unyielding, which isn't conducive to comfort. I had intended on returning this product, but time ran out and I was too busy. I also purchased a similar pair in a different style (Arider AR3011), and at least this pair didn't squeak like the other pair. Wears this shoe: Seldom
	Arider AR3021 Love the zipper, hate the zipper April 08, 2013 Reviewer: M. P from Las Vegas, Nevada I love these as slip on shoes, but after over a month of steady wearage, the zipper/tongue of the shoe will not smooth out right. My shoe kind of flops around because the zipper will hang up about half way up the shoe. It's a little ridiculous to walk around like the girl who can't even zip up her shoe, but they are so comfortable, I can't take them off. They were even good for a full day's walking at Disneyland. Wears this shoe: Work, walking, recreation, all day, for some club evenings as well.

An all occasion and all day wear shoe. I bought 2 other similar shoes from the same manufacturer and they are just as nice. Price can't be beat and service is first rate.
